Some Observations
The global financial crisis has highlighted one thing in particular; the need for businesses to save money without damaging their ability to get the job done.
But more than saving money, businesses the world over are navigating through the challenge of the need to both centralise and globalise at the same time. How is this possible?
Many communications‐related organisations have realised the incredible potential of SaaS (Software as a Service) for many years, but it’s only now with the need being so real for many businesses, that SaaS providers have seen remarkable opportunities for market penetration.
Digital Hybrid is one such organisation.
We’ve realised the huge potential for both corporate and residential clients to be able centralise what they do by using SaaS offerings, which in turn literally opens them to a “world” of possibilities. Instead of having your infrastructure limit you to one geographical location, the power of SaaS allows you to be fully connected and totally operational from wherever you are in the world.
In fact, it was that very thought that kick-started everything for us! Although a relatively young business in itself, Digital Hybrid is a natural outgrowth from many of the services we've been offering for years.
A Bit of History
Our founder, Kerry Denten, is a 30 year veteran of the broadcast, recording and communications industries. He was one of the first industry professionals to realise the potential of combining the communications power of the Internet with digital audio recording technology. He was also one of the first broadcasters to see the potential of creating a broadcast‐quality recording studio in a briefcase.
It was these kinds of innovations that gained Kerry a client base right across the country with Voice Overs Australia; a voiceover agency that represented the likes of Roger Climpson, Eric Walters, the late Rod Field (the national voice of ABC TV), Bill Weaver (the voice of WS‐FM) and 25 more heavyweight industry professionals. With a track record like that, it’s no surprise that the diversification of our communications offerings has expanded as it has.
